Elkhorn Slough Safari, in Moss Landing, California, provides excellent opportunities to photograph wildlife close at hand. Photograph playful sea otters, curious harbor seals, sea lions, hundreds of birds, beautiful landscapes, historic harbor and fishing boats. The Safari pontoon boat offers a stable platform to photograph from, and the boat is an effective for capturing wildlife on film. The pontoon boat is big lens friendly. Be sure to let the Captain know you are photographing so he can cater to your needs.

Most photographers prefer the option of renting a bench to themselves (2 spots) to spread out their gear and to ease shooting both sides of the boat. Ask us when you book.

You can arrange for a private photographic charter for just yourself or for a photography club.

Elkhorn Slough Safari offers special photography tours just for photographers. You will have our most experienced Captain who as a photographer knows what photographers want. The photo field workshops are offered year round with the next scheduled for Oct. 8.
